Directions and Parking information for Visitors:

If you are a prospective student or local bassist who would like to attend one of our events, you can get your bearings from the SDSU Campus Map.  It is generally best to park on the top level of Parking Structure 4, which has a meter where you can buy a parking permit right by the elevator ($2 per hour.)  Follow the pedestrian bridge at the Southeast corner of the lot, which will take you towards the music building.  M113 (“Rhapsody Hall”) is on the 1st floor, at the  Northwest corner.  M233 is on the 2nd floor, on the West side (inside entrance.)  If you would like to attend a bass class, it is best to email me at music@joryherman.com beforehand, just so I can fill you in if have a last-minute change of schedule or location.  Any bassist is welcome to visit our bass classes.  In order to participate in the technique section of the class, you will want to know all your 2-octave scales (3-octaves preferred.)
